YouTuber  The Action Lab often brings us unique science experiments that both amaze and educate. You may remember this episode when  he made a laser microscope using just a drop of water or this time when  he made a black mirror.

Now, he is back with another clip where he tries to climb a wall with nano tape, also known as gecko tape. To take on this adventure, he dresses up as Spider-Man.

The YouTuber explains how geckos' feet, which inspired nano tape, were for a long time a mystery to scientists because they did not see any adhesives on them and could therefore not figure out how they manage to stick to surfaces with such sheer force.

It wasn't until the invention of scanning electron microscopes that researchers were able to put together how the lizards managed to stick to surfaces so well. Once they understood that, they were able to recreate nano tape or gecko tape to imitate this process.

So, how well does the gecko tape work? Can it hold up a grown man against a wall? Can the YouTuber successfully climb the wall? What special arrangements does he make for his experiment to work? This video answers all these questions.
