Gillette Stadium will host eight MIAA State Football Championships on December 1, 2 and 6

Foxborough, Massachusetts — The Massachusetts Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) today announced the matches and schedules for eight state football tournaments that will take place on Wednesday, December 1, Thursday, December 2, and Monday, December 6. One was held at Gillette Stadium.

The 2021 MIAA State Football Championship, hosted by Cross Insurance, marks the 14th year that Gillette Stadium will host the game. It is also the fourth time that all eight championship games will be played at the home of the six-time Super Bowl champion New England Patriots.

The three-day match started on December 1st. The three matches included Hull vs. Randolph, Wacona vs. Kohasset and North Reading vs. Swapscot, and continued on December 2. Play three games, and then on December 6th ended Abington against Rockland and Scituate against Duxbury in a double-headed match. The three-day competition will provide student athletes from 16 MIAA schools and their respective communities with an unforgettable game experience.

The MIAA State Football Championship is the culmination of more than 100 playoff football matches across the state and lasts for 4 weeks. In addition to the excitement of the state championships, there are thousands of cheering fans, cheerleaders and school bands. Participating schools and their fans will also watch NFL-level game demonstrations with music and replays on the stadium’s HD video boards. The Kraft family will once again donate the Gillette Stadium for the competition.

Tickets for the MIAA State Football Championship will go on sale through Ticketmaster on Tuesday, November 23 at 10 am. The Gillette Stadium ticket office does not sell tickets. All tickets are digital and can only be accessed via mobile devices. Fans can access and manage mobile tickets through the Gillette Stadium app, which is available on the App Store (for iPhone users) and Google Play Store (for Android users). It is recommended that you add mobile tickets to Apple Wallet or Google Pay to avoid busy network connections during games or events. The adult fare is US$17 and the student/senior fare is US$14. Children 5 years and younger can enter for free. The ticket price includes parking, game admission fees and a $3 match day discount for adult admission to the Patriot Hall of Fame provided by Raytheon (the game ticket must be presented). Tickets for Wednesday can watch all three games on Wednesday, tickets for Thursday can watch all three games on Thursday, and tickets for Monday can watch the double-headed game of the day. Please note that it is forbidden to participate in this event again. Based on user charges in the town, part of the ticket price will also be paid to the town of Foxborough.

All fans will enter the stadium through the Patriot Square gate at Enel Square near the ticket office. The Patriot Foundation will also accept donations during the MIAA State Football Championship for their annual toy activities to benefit children in need. Fans can bring new and unpackaged toys to the blue and white collection boxes located at the gate of Patriot Square.

Kraft Sports Productions will produce a TV broadcast, which will air all Wednesday and Thursday matches on WSBK on Saturday, December 4, but recording will be delayed. Wednesday and Thursday games will also be broadcast live on WBZ's free streaming service CBSN Boston. Fans can find CBSN Boston on CBSBoston.com, the CBS Boston app, or smart TVs via Fire TV, Apple TV or Roku. In addition, Monday's game will be broadcast live on the NFHS Network of www.nfhsnetwork.com, and Wednesday and Thursday matches will be broadcast live on Patriots.com.

The National Football League (NFL) announced today that fans have the opportunity to receive free virtual commemorative tickets in the form of non-fungible tokens (NFT) after participating in selected games from Thanksgiving to the end of the 2021 NFL season.

The Patriots announced that they have activated T Trent Brown from the injury reserve and placed LB Jamie Collins on the injury reserve. In addition, the Patriots promoted DL Tashawn Bower and TE Matt LaCosse from the training class to the active roster.
