Sometimes jobs are done so poorly it begs the question if anyone had been paying attention. 

People from around the world have shared the best examples of half-hearted jobs they've spotted - with the very best collated in a gallery by Constantive.    

One failed attempt showed a fire alarm with the word 'ceiling' on, while another shows a street lamp pointing straight into the sky.

Elsewhere, a paint job on some railings almost missed everywhere but the railings, and a sell-by date simply stated 'Monday'.
